When Charlie and I drove the Pacific Coast we witnessed this wedding. It took my breath away. To me, it said everything about that time. That we were in the middle of this war and yet life moved on, whether anyone was watching or not, that some moments are so fleeting and yet so monumental, whether they cost nothing or everything.
